The Bourbon Society was established for Bourbon aficionados who want to deepen their understanding and appreciate of Bourbon’s culture, history, diversity and flavor profiles through open discussions, lectures and tastings.The Bourbon Society is a dues-supported organization that proposes to provide charitable donations through it’s members and treasury.
Join us Every 3rd Tuesday from 7pm to 8:30pm for our Monthly Meetings at the Pendennis Club.
Socializing starts at about 6:30pm, unless there is a special program.
October 18 meeting: Tasting from the Parker Heritage Collection!
November 15 meeting. Special! At 6:00 sharp, bourbon writer Susan Reigler will lead a tasting of bourbons with wheat in their mash bills, rather than rye. There will also be a sampling of a wheat whiskey (made with 51 per cent wheat). Please R.S.V.P. to Evan Thurmond,evan@lifetimewealthstrategies.net so the number of participants can be determined. Regular meeting at 7:00.
Upcoming Event: Nov 6 – Day at the Downs. Must register by tonight (October 18!) at the meeting!! Lynn and Gwen Harpring will be sponsoring us at the Turf Club during the fall meet at Churchill Downs. Cost of the entry ticket is $15. Parking in lot #10 is free. Upcoming Event: December 3 – 3rd Annual Repeal Day Event. This year’s event will be held at the Pendennis Club in the 3rd floor ballroom from 7:00-11:00pm.
